Terms of Service in Detroit, MI

What General Pest Control Covers

Last updated: October 2026

These terms apply to General Pest Control work that Michigan Pest Solutions agrees to perform at the service address. The written estimate or service record identifies the pests, treatment areas, and work included. Services do not automatically include termites, bed bugs, wildlife, structural repairs, sanitation, or pests and areas not listed; those may require inspection, a separate agreement, or a different provider.

Pesticide use must follow applicable law and the product label, including FIFRA directions and restrictions. Michigan pesticide applicators must meet applicable requirements under Act 451, Part 83.

Category 7A covers general pest management; Category 7B covers termite control. These terms do not represent that a particular treatment or category is included in your service.

Follow EPA container-disposal directions; qualifying hazardous pesticide waste is subject to applicable RCRA rules. Relevant oversight may include the EPA, MDARD, EGLE, and LARA. Do not reuse or discard treatment materials contrary to label instructions.

Booking, Changing, or Cancelling a Visit

Appointments are arranged by phone, email, or another method confirmed by Michigan Pest Solutions. We will agree on a service date or arrival window and explain any preparation needed for the scheduled work. Please provide accurate access instructions and tell us about pets, occupants, known sensitivities, or site conditions that may affect treatment.

Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change an appointment. Any cancellation notice period or fee will be disclosed before it applies; no fee is created by this section alone.

If we cannot safely access the property or perform the agreed service, we may ask to reschedule. We will seek your approval before adding work or changing the agreed scope.

A scope change means a different pest, treatment area, or service beyond what the estimate or service record describes. Weather, safety concerns, or other conditions may require a revised appointment, which we will communicate.

Estimates, Charges, and When Payment Is Due

An estimate describes the work and price Michigan Pest Solutions proposes based on the information available and any inspection performed. It is not approval for services outside its stated scope.

The estimate or service record will state when payment is due and identify accepted payment methods. Unless a written agreement says otherwise, payment is due as shown on the invoice or estimate for the work performed.

Ask questions before approving the estimate if any item is unclear. If inspection or changing site conditions show that additional work may be needed, we will explain the proposed change and its cost before proceeding.

We will not treat silence as approval for added work. You may decline the change; the original service may then be limited or rescheduled if it cannot reasonably be completed as agreed.

Taxes or other charges, if applicable, will be identified in the estimate or invoice. No price or financing offer is promised by these terms.

What to Expect From Our Work

Michigan Pest Solutions will perform the services listed in the approved estimate or service record with reasonable care and in accordance with applicable requirements and pesticide label directions. Pest activity can depend on conditions outside our control, including entry points, moisture, food sources, neighboring properties, and the pest’s life cycle. A treatment is not a promise that pests will never return or that every pest will be eliminated.

These terms do not create a service warranty, retreatment period, or specific duration of coverage. If a written estimate or separate agreement provides a warranty or follow-up service, that document controls its scope, duration, and conditions.

Coverage may not apply to pests, areas, or work not included in that agreement, or where required preparation or access was not provided. Contact us if activity continues after service so we can review the service record and explain any available next steps. We will not add a warranty term unless it is stated in writing.

Responsibility for Service and Property Conditions

To the extent permitted by law, Michigan Pest Solutions’ liability for a claim arising from the service is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply where prohibited by law, or to liability that cannot legally be limited. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or conditions, hidden structural defects, pest activity from untreated areas, or losses caused by inaccurate information, denied access, or failure to follow written preparation or safety instructions.

Nothing in these terms authorizes pesticide use contrary to FIFRA label directions or applicable Michigan law. Applicator certification requirements under Act 451, Part 83, including commercial categories 7A for general pest management and 7B for termite control, apply as relevant to the work performed.

EPA container disposal directions and applicable RCRA requirements for qualifying hazardous pesticide waste remain in effect. These terms do not shift legal disposal duties or override requirements imposed by regulators.

Questions About These Terms

For questions about these terms or a scheduled service, contact Michigan Pest Solutions at (877) 729-2528 or info@michiganpestsolutions.top. Written correspondence may be sent to Renaissance Center, 400 Renaissance Center, Detroit, MI. Please include the service address and, if available, your estimate or invoice number so we can direct your question appropriately.

We may update these terms to reflect changes in our services or applicable requirements. The current version will be made available with our terms materials or communicated through a reasonable written notice.

Changes apply prospectively and do not alter work already approved unless you agree to a change or the law requires it. The estimate or separate written agreement for a service may contain additional terms for that work; where terms conflict, the specific written service agreement controls for its stated scope. Contact us before approving work if you want clarification.

Service Expert at Michigan Pest Solutions

I started in pest control in Detroit, where older homes, basements, and changing seasons make it important to identify how pests are getting inside—not just treat what is visible. I built this company to give Michigan households and businesses clear inspections and dependable treatment plans suited to local conditions.
